Going out

Let’s watch all the things

I don’t know what has come over me this year. I’ve lived in London for almost 8 years now and I have done, by all accounts, a lot of things. I’ve been on the London Eye, climbed up Big Ben, Tower of London, Monument, you name it. Lots of museums and things, moreso, than the average bear. Or Londoner in this case.

However, there are many other things to do and this year, I’m going to start doing them.

First off, seeing a play and/or show every month. You can get relatively cheap tickets no matter what time of year. It’s the equivalent of 2 film tickets most of the time. Because live events are awesome.

January, I went to see Festival of the Spoken Nerd, February I lucked out and saw Coriolanus and March was 12 Angry Men.

There’s nothing lined up for April yet, though there is all of QEDcon.

Then it gets awesome.

May has Billy Bragg, King Lear and watching my first ever cricket match.

June and July has Darrow, Monty Python and Titus Andronicus.

At some point we’re going to watch a qualifying game for the Women’s Football World Cup.

LET’S DO ALL THE THINGS.
