I picked this up because I bought many comics when I went to the Comics Unmasked exhibition at the British Library. It was ace! I want to read more (which is the best thing to have after reading a comic). I quite enjoy the duplicitous nature of Loki. Just an interesting group of people with a weird situation.

Nemo: The Roses of Berlin
Alan Moore, Kevin O’Neill

I really didn’t understand this. I don’t think it felt as together as Heart of Ice. Also I don’t like the idea of a 15 year old strategically marrying someone much older. It all happened too quickly and I was left super confused about the point of it.

The Manhattan Projects

“Fuck your science doctor…I’ve got a machine gun.” That was my favourite line in the graphic novel. This gets twistier and turnier and more insane but still, really ridiculously fun. I think the infinite Oppenheimer’s are finally dead…or are they? I don’t know what’ll happen next or if that was the wrapping up. But it’s a good, ridiculous and weird series.
